After graduation from Lakeside, Roberts went on to play basketball and softball for two years at DeKalb College’s south campus. She continued her collegiate career at Georgia State University and played both sports for her final two years. Roberts played guard and forward for the basketball team and shortstop and left field in softball. After earning her degree in Physical Education, she spent the next 23 years teaching Middle School PE with stops in Georgia and Florida. In 2004, Roberts pursued a new path after earning a certification in Personal Training and transitioned from middle school to working with adults to achieve their fitness goals.
